I’m Blanka — an elopement photographer and videographer, a quiet storyteller and gentle observer, splitting my time between the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland, and the dream of a home somewhere in the sunlit beauty of France. Drawn to the stillness found in wild places, I’m inspired by the tender moments that quietly unfold between two people in love.
With a deep love for the misty Highlands and the soft light that shapes these lands, Scotland is where my story begins — but my heart is open to wherever love calls next.
Outside of photography, I’m most at home wandering through new places — whether it’s cobbled streets, sun-dappled cafés, or wild coastlines — always with my dogs by my side. They remind me to stay present, to notice the quiet beauty in the everyday, and to embrace joy in its simplest forms. I believe love lives in the small gestures — the shared laughter, the way someone reaches for your hand, the pause before a kiss. Those are the moments I want to preserve for you.

From Dog Chaperone to Documenting Love
My journey into wedding and elopement photography began in an unexpected place — alongside couples as a dog chaperone.
I helped bring their beloved pets into the celebration, and in doing so, was invited into some of the most intimate, emotional moments of their day.
Through this lens, I experienced weddings not just as events, but as living stories — filled with tenderness, connection, and the joyful chaos of love. It showed me that what truly matters isn’t how perfect things look, but how honestly they feel.
Weddings, Dogs & My Approach
Love comes in all forms — and sometimes, on four legs
Those early days with pets taught me how beautifully personal weddings can be. Including dogs added warmth, character, and heart to each celebration. I carry that lesson with me still — to always look for the deeper, quieter expressions of love.
Today, I photograph weddings and elopements across Scotland and France, always with a gentle, documentary approach. My style blends the softness of fine art with the honesty of candid storytelling. I want you to feel like I’m a friend walking alongside you — someone who sees you, quietly and without expectation.
